Ms. Leslie Bowling, Counseling
Ms. Bowling is our foremost counselor and San Jose State University graduate, who exclusively serves our FAST students. She alone can solve schedule problems with one glance of an eye. Students flock to her as chickens to a Mother Hen, as ducks to a pond, as turkey vultures to a dead carcass. In addition, Ms. Bowling has been known to participate in any outdoor activity that taxes Navy Seals, including the Mud Run at CSUMB. She eats dirt for breakfast and wheat grass for lunch.

Ms. Jane Anderson, Health
Our FASTest runner of the team, Ms. Anderson has qualified for the Boston Marathon for four years. This means Ms. Anderson runs 8 minute miles for 26.2 miles, and can easily run laps around the rest of us. Ms. Anderson is a graduate of Salinas High, Hartnell College, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She is our leader, mostly because no one can keep up with her. All of her training occurs at 5 in the morning, which is another reason for her title of coordinator. Anyone who is willing and able to get up at that insane hour of the morning deserves this job.

Ms. Martha Getris, Junior English
Ms. Getris is our reigning Division I athlete, who played pretty-much all competitive sports in college, including volleyball, basketball, bridge, soccer, croquette, bowling, steeplechase, gymnastics, roller derby, lacrosse, swimming, Bunko, and mud-wrestling. You can find Ms. Getris at the YMCA, "glowing" on the elliptical. She can out-lift most men and women; runs faster than a speeding bullet; is able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, and looks good in Spandex. Another graduate of SHS (Ms. Anderson is an alum, too), Ms. Getris travels the world in search of adventure, but always returns home.

You can often find Ms. Harrison standup-paddling in the bay, hiking the hills of Monterey County, or at Yoga class at Indigo Yoga. She graduated from UCSD, UCLA, and most recently, CSUMB.
